CFU PRESS STATEMENT
The CFU would like to correct a few misconceptions that have arisen after the release of recent statements.
1. At no stage did we apportion the blame on the Tribunal for our case not being on the role of 24th March 2010.
2. We were not putting the Tribunal under pressure to hear the case before Friday 26th March, as our lead counsel had already left Namibia.
3. We have the utmost respect for the Tribunal and the Judges, and at no stage have we suggested that they were influenced by anyone to remove our case from the roll.
4. We will seek to have our case enrolled at the next sitting of the Tribunal.
