Notice of Acquisition of Agricultural Land Under Section 16B (2)(a)(iii) of the Constitution

NOTICE is given, in terms of section 16B(2)(a)(iii) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, that the Minister of State for Lands and Rural Resettlement hereby acquires for and on behalf of the State, the land identified and described in the Schedule for the purposes of settlement for agriculture. 

FURTHER TAKE NOTICE that ownership of the acquired land with full title therein vested in the State is with effect from the date of publication of this notice in the Government Gazette.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND 

1. Deed of Transfer 7178/65, registered in the name of The Rhodesian Railways Limited, in respect of certain piece of land situate in the district of Bulawayo, being Farm No.5 Portion of Woollandale Estate, measuring one thousand two hundred and sixty-four comma four seven two (1264,472) morgens.

1. Deed of Transfer 1933/76, registered in the name of Winfred Reid Grant-Riach, in respect of certain piece of land situate in the district of Bulalima Mangwe, being Orange Groove Estate, measuring one thousand eight hundred and forty-seven comma six nine eight two (1847,6982) hectares.

1. Deed of Transfer 319778, registered in the name of Imperani P/L, in respect of certain piece of land situate in the district of Gatooma, being Lot 3 of Railway Farm 10A, measuring six hundred and seventeen comma four nine zero three (617,4903) hectares.

1. Deed of Transfer 2633/97, registered in the name of Gramara P/L, in respect of certain piece of land situate in the district of Hartley, being Lot 1 of Hopewell, measuring one hundred and ninety-seven comma eight seven two nine (197,8729) hectares.

1. Deed of Transfer 4672/75 , registered in the name of John LeMaistre D’auvegne Nicole, in respect of certain piece of land situate in the district of Hartley, being Subdivision A of Chingford, measuring twenty four comma two seven six eight (24,2768) hectares.

1. Deed of Transfer 5988/83, registered in the name of Amalinda Estates P/L, in respect of certain piece of land situate in the district of Salisbury, being Amalinda Estates, measuring one thousand one hundred and one comma eight two eight three (1101,8283) hectares.

1. Deed of Transfer 741/89, registered in the name of Yvonne Jayne Doorty, in respect of certain piece of land situated in the district of Salisbury, being Lot 1 of Subdivision A of Saffron of Walden, measuring ten comma two two two four (10,2224) hectares.

1. Deed of Transfer 3291/57, registered in the name of Lindsell David Greebe, in respect of certain piece of land situate in the district of Salisbury being Lot 2 of Subdivision A of Saffron of Walden, measuring twenty-one comma two seven one nine (21,2719) hectares.
