We are constantly receiving requests from evicted farmers to search for suitable, reasonably priced, accommodation in the main centres, mainly Harare. Often the farmers have been forced off their farms and out of their homes at very short notice and become refugees with nowhere to go.
We also have a number of farmers who have moved to town who can no longer afford the high rentals being asked, which are often being increased to prices far beyond their means.

FURTHER COURSE ON “THERMAL USE OF SOLAR ENERGY”
As this course is proving to be so successful, with participants expressing enthusiasm about what they have learned with regards to challenges we are all experiencing with ZESA supplies in Zimbabwe, we have decided to hold a further course, but have condensed this into two days by request, so that less of your valuable time is spent away from your farm or business. The next course will be held on 1st and 2nd August 2012 and the course details are as follows:

The two-day course focuses on the applications of solar-thermal technologies suitable for Zimbabwe. New developments on the solar market will be highlighted and several reasons will be brought out as to why Zimbabwe has no choice but to go SOLAR. Different types of components and the design of complete solar hot water systems will be explained and their potential benefit to various industrial sectors as well as to hospitals, homes, schools and households. Offering alternatives to conventional energy sources, attendants from agriculture, industry, commerce and tourism will be introduced to methods of solar process heating.
The theory classes will be complemented with a site visit to a successfully running solar hot water installation in Harare. Attendants will be provided with the course material and other relevant literature on a CD.

WHY USE NEUTHOX FOR CLEANING AND DISINFECTING WATER AND FOOD AREAS
1. Safe to handle, requires no special clothing or precautions. If drunk accidentally in its pure form will cause no permanent ill effects.
2. Can be produced with pH value of 7 (neutral) the same pH as water so no detrimental effects on the environment.
3. Biodegradable, breaks down in the environment to salt.
4. Kills all known pathological bacteria without creating resistance. Some so called more environmentally friendly disinfectants such as Ammonium Quaternary salts have been shown to create a resistance mechanism that has implications for their resistance to ant-biotics.
5. Neuthox is produced with an accuracy of freely available chlorine of 500 ppm plus or minus 5%. Standard chlorination has an accuracy of plus or minus 35% therefore it is frequently overdosed. Plus standard chlorination normally uses Sodium Hypochlorite with a high pH value of up to 12 which can have implications when discharging into the environment.
6. Neuthox is a mixed oxidant so it also contains other biocides such as hydrogen peroxide and chlorine dioxide giving better all round disinfection.
7. Neuthox when coming into contact with methane (often present in place like swimming pools and in potable water) produces lower levels of THM’s (potential carcinogens) than standard chlorination.
8. If a small residual amount of Neuthox is left in a warm water system there will be NO Legionella.
9. Neuthox is manufactured on site so there are no risks in transportation.
10. If Neuthox is accidentally mixed with other chemicals there are no significant risks unlike with sodium hypochlorite.
11. Neuthox is safe to come into contact with human beings, it is approved by the UN for wound treatment and is used in many countries for the treatment of diabetic ulcers and sterilization of dental work.(Including the USA)
Neuthox is particularly effective against bio films a major cause of infections such as Legionalla within potable water systems and cooling towers
