Further Statement by the Francis Family

We are deeply sad to announce that our beloved Malcolm passed away during last night.  It was an unexpected blow, as his condition seemed to be relatively stable, though very serious.  And today Catherine was cremated, after a small family service to bid farewell to this brave and gentle young woman.

We will hold a private family cremation for Malcolm, as we did for Catherine, but a memorial for them both will be held in due course, and a date will be announced as soon as we can make the necessary decisions and arrangements.

Thank-you to you all, for your help, generosity and wonderful messages, during this devastating time for our family.   Your support brings us much comfort.

Jonathan Francis
