Statutory Instrument 235A of 16^th July, 2001.Grain Marketing (Controlled Products Declaration) (Maize and Wheat) Notice, 2001IN terms of section 29 of the Grain Marketing Act (Chapter 18:14), the Minister of Lands, Agriculture and Rural Resettlement hereby declares as follow:-Title

1. This notice may be cited as the Grain Marketing (Controlled Products Declaration) (Maize and Wheat) Notice, 2001.

Interpretation

1. In this notice –

“maize” means the seed, whole or crushed, on or off the cob, and samp, of Zena mays indurata, but does not include green maize on the cob used in that form for human consumption;“Maize meal” means the milled product of maize, including grits, cones, hominy chop and offals;“wheat” means the seed of Triticum aestivium;“wheat flour” means the milled product of wheat.Controlled products

1. Maize, maize-meal, wheat and wheat-flour shall be controlled products within the whole of Zimbabwe.

Repeal

1. The Grain Marketing (Controlled Products Declaration) Notice, 1993, published in Statutory Instrument 214 of 1993, is repealed.
