Preparations for the 2014 Harare Agricultural Show are at an advanced stage, with more 780 exhibitors expected to showcase their products from August 20 to August 30.
Zimbabwe Agricultural Society public relations officer Ms Heather Madombwe said the show dates which were re-scheduled from August 23 to August 31, in order to incorporate more traders.
“We have decided to extend the days to incorporate a larger number of traders to initiate a bit of more formality at the official opening of the show,” she said.
“This will also give traders enough time to issue out tickets to their suppliers and stakeholders so that they explore their products at their stands.”
Ms Madombwe said the public was allowed to come during the two trading days, but they will have to pay.
“The fees remain unchanged and adults will pay US$5 dollars and children below 12 will pay US$1,” she said.
