LAND ACQUISITION ACT (CHAPTER 20:10)
Preliminary Notice to Compulsorily Acquire Land
Notice is hereby given, in terms of section 5(1) of the Land Acquisition Act [Chapter 20:10], that the President intends to acquire compulsorily the land described in the Schedule for urban Development.
A plan of the land is available for inspection at the following offices of the Ministry of Lands, and Rural Resettlement between 8am and 4pm from Monday to Friday other than on public holidays on or before 25th July, 2011.
a) Block 2, Makombe Complex, Cnr. Harare Street and Herbert Chitepo Avenue, Harare,
b) Ministry of Lands, and Rural Resettlement, CF 119 Government Composite Block, Robert Mugabe Way, Mutare;
c) Ministry of Lands, and Rural Resettlement, Office 146, Fourth Floor, Block H, Mhlahlandlela Government Complex, Bulawayo;
d) Ministry of Lands, and Rural Resettlement, M & W Building, corner Park/Link Streets, Chinhoyi;
e) Ministry of Lands, and Rural Resettlement, First Floor, Founder House, The Green, Marondera;
f) Ministry of Lands, and Rural Resettlement, 19 Hellet Street, Masvingo;
g) Ministry of Lands, and Rural Resettlement, Exchange Building, Main Street, Gweru;
h) Ministry of Lands, and Rural Resettlement, Office No. F20, First Floor, Mtshabezi Building, Gwanda;
i) Ministry of Lands, and Rural Resettlement, Ndodahondo Building, Bindura.
Any owner or occupier or any person who has an interest and right in the said land, and who:
a. Wishes to object to the proposed compulsory acquisition
b. Wishes to claim compensation in terms of part V for the acquisition of the land
may lodge the same, in writing, with The Minister of Lands and Rural Resettlement, Private Bag 7779, Causeway, Harare, on or before 25th July, 2011.

DEED OF Transfer 5398/98, registered in the name of Quality Flowers (Private) Limited, in respect of a certain piece of land situate in the district of Salisbury, being Gillingham Estate A, measuring four hundred and twenty-four comma four zero one four (424,4014) hectares.
