Types of Membership

offered by the CFU

1     A Large Farming Operator fee of either USD 2,000.00 when paying cash or USD 200.00 per month is for farmers earning an income from farming or agricultural related activities whether partially or fully operational. (Turnover 1 million and above)

2     A Medium Farming Operator fee of either USD 1000.00 when paying cash or USD 100.00 per month is for farmers earning a medium income from farming or agricultural related activities whether partially or fully operational. (Turnover between 500,000.00 and 1 million)

3     A Standard Farming Operator fee of either USD 500.00 when paying cash or USD 50.00 per month is for farmers earning a small income from farming or agricultural related activities whether partially or fully operational. (Turnover 500,000.00 and below)

4     ARAC membership fee of USD 100.00 per title up to a maximum of USD 200.00 for more titles for farmers dispossessed of their farms and requiring assistance with compensation not deriving any income from farming or any agriculture related activities

5     Corporate Membership fee of USD 2,000 or USD 200.00 per month is for any corporate or business which fully supports the Union and its objectives.

                   6      An Associate Member is a non-farmer interested in the Union’s affairs receiving any income from farming or any agriculture related activities – USD 500.00

Membership Notice

Thank you to all who have already renewed their CFU membership for the 2023/2024 year. We encourage everyone to bring their subs up to date. Funds received from membership help the CFU to get where we need to go and tread new paths in the farming world.

Payments can be made to the following:

  • Cash, which can be dropped of at the CFU office.
  • Swipe, which can be done at the CFU office.
  • Bank Transfer to the CFU’s ZiG or USD Account.
Side note: We are no longer taking payments through the ABSA account.
