Presidential Powers (Temporary Measures) (Amendment of Reserve Bank
of Zimbabwe Act) Regulations, 2010
HIS Excellency the President, in terms of section 2 of the Presidential Powers (Temporary
Measures) Act [Chapter 10:20], hereby makes the following regulations:—
Title
1. These regulations may be cited as the Presidential Powers (Temporary Measures)
(Amendment of Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Act) Regulations, 2010.
New section inserted in Cap. 22:15
2. The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Act [Chapter 22:15] (No. 5 of 1999) is amended by the
insertion of the following section after section 63A—
“63B Legal proceedings against Bank
The State Liabilities Act [Chapter 22:13]1 applies with necessary changes to legal
proceedings against the Bank, including the substitution of references therein to a Minister
by references to the Governor.”
Transitional
3. These regulations apply to proceedings against the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe that are
pending on the date of commencement of these regulations.

the Zimbabwean Government Gazette Extraordinary dated 18th June 2010.
